In our asset structuring and investment consulting business, our know-how is based on our individual and collective talent and experience.

Here at SOLON, we know how to differentiate ourselves through the relevance of our complementarities, our intellectual rigour and precision approach. This enables the smooth-running of our client support system.

A unique ambition

The abundance of crises over the past thirty years, and the concomitant decrease of certainties in the financial sector, can understandably generate fears. However, here at SOLON, we believe that these phenomena can actually be a source of opportunity.

In this context, it is advisable, in our opinion, to banish caricatural reasoning. We are also constantly striving to combine our knowledge of the profession with responsiveness and sincerity: we aim for excellence and precision in all our business dealings.

Our demanding nature has enabled us to design a balanced and structurally profitable business model, whose growth is above all qualitative in order to maintain and improve the quality of our services and the added value provided to our customers in the long term.

A no-nonsense and realistic approach

In order to design and recommend asset structuring strategies tailored to our client’s needs, we first of all take time to get to know them better and to identify and understand their objectives and constraints.

Because we understand the issues of high-level sport, we know that objectives can only be achieved by clearly defining them from the outset, and then by planning, organising and defining the steps required to achieve them. Our approach is based on different stages which makes the resulting strategy clear, decipherable and accessible. We also rely on a deliberately realistic analysis of our environment.

Tailor-made support in 3 steps

1. Challenges

Our primary role is to understand the history of our customers and to work with them to identify their reasons and deepest motivations. By truly and sincerely listening to one other, we learn to understand and assess their challenges - whether they relate to family, entrepreneurism or shareholders.

2. Client knowledge

Beyond the detailed understanding of our clients' issues, our approach also aims to take into account their sensitivity to the inherent constraints of asset management. This dimension, combined with a thorough analysis of their relationship to risk, is paramount in order to develop advice and solutions for the achievement of their objectives, while making the best possible efforts to preserve them emotionally.

We have an empathetic, flexible and non-judgemental approach, placing the client’s knowledge at the centre of the process for defining and understanding their objectives and projects.

3. Advice

Once we have identified and analysed client information, we provide a number of tailored and careful recommendations that also take into account the environment. For the latter to be as relevant as possible, it is essential to have a consultant who can limit financial pressure, is known to the client and that can work closely with them. We also make sure to only recommend possible products once the problems and strategies have been well defined and validated by the client.

To cautiously move in the same direction, we share the strategy we have defined together with our client’s solicitors, lawyers, accountants and tax advisers (where applicable). By considering their proposals, we can ensure overall consistency.

We are also attentive to any changes in the situation, objectives or risk ratio of our clients and, where necessary, adjust the advice and the proposed asset allocation accordingly.
